Machine Reservations.
OUR FACILITIES / MACHINE RESERVATIONS
Reserving a Machine.
You will need a MindBody account to make a machine reservation. You can
Mindbody will not display same day availability. To check availability for same day appointments, call the front desk at 410.862.0424
*Note: In order to reserve any machine except for 3D printers, the cricut, and glowforge, you must have taken the corresponding safety class.
Lateness
Reservations may be released after 30 minutes. Consecutive reservation blocks will be treated as a single reservation. Please call to adjust your time if you are running behind.
Usage
Members may only reserve one machine at a time in most shops.
Hour Maximums
There are not standing limits for most machines. Please be as accurate as possible when reserving.
The shop manager may cap usage to 24 hours/week for individual machines in seasons of high demand.
Clean up
Machines should be available for subsequent users at the end of your reservation time. Please factor clean up time into your reservation.
Machines requiring reservations:
- Long Arm Quilting Machine
- CNC Embroidery Machines
- Direct to Garment Printer*
- Heat Press
- 3D Printers**
- CNC Plasma Cutter
- CNC Routers
- Laser Cutters, including the glowforge
- Wood Lathe
- Spray Booth***
- Cricut Vinyl Cutter
*DTG printer and heat press may be reserved together
**Users may reserve two 3D printers concurrently
***The spray booth may be reserved along other machines to account for drying time.
The sewing studio (Textiles) does not require any machine reservations.
In the Woodshop, the lathe is the only tool that requires reservation.
In the Metal Shop, the plasma cutter is the only tool that requires reservation.
We advise users to call ahead to check for individual shop closures if they plan to use these spaces.
