Open Works

OW Weekly / 2/24/2020

Meet Blou Harrison! She is a fashion and shoe designer who just set up shop in our upstairs studios. She first engaged with Open Works in 2017 for the very first cohort of our Teen Maker program, then continued into the next school year. After graduating from Baltimore Design School in 2018, she has been taking some college classes, working full-time in retail, and launching her own freelance design business. She came back to Open Works this month as our 2nd Teen Maker who has graduated to an adult membership! Blou’s story is the Open Works story: educational and economic opportunity for Baltimore’s youth. Join Blou and the rest of our amazing member community OR help sponsor another Teen Maker by making a tax-free donation today.
