Looking for a Class?

We offer a wide variety of classes for young people, adults, and seniors throughout the year. As COVID-19 impacted our ability to offer in-person instruction, we have adapted by adding virtual and hybrid options. In-person Shop Safety classes returning July 1!

Looking for a Studio?

Resident members of Open Works have the option of adding one (or up to 4) micro-studios, available on flexible month-to-month terms. Check out our micro-studios for your small business or nonprofit and become part of a community of makers.

Interested in our Facilities?

Membership at Open Works gives you access to 34,000 S.F. of equipment, including 7 workshops and a computer lab. With loading dock access, free parking, and a central location, we make it easy for you to make! If you want to check it out for yourself, sign up for community orientation. You’ll get a great tour of the building and it’s the first step towards membership!

A number of different neighborhoods throughout central Baltimore will be able to charge their devices and access WiFi thanks to our partnership with the Central Baltimore Partnership (CBP). The 29th Street Community Center, which is undergoing renovations this fall and will lose access to its current computer resources, will receive the first computer station....
